Aurora Tornado over Tromsø
A geomagnetic storm, caused by a solar eruption, led to strong northern lights on March 3, 2024, which could be nicely seen even in the city center of Tromsø. The beautiful aurora tornado was briefly visible directly from our hotel (Ishavshotel Tromsø).
